I must try it out sometime for a real period of time. I did pop into one of my family's house one day and was able to sack the sitter she had hired behind my back, lazy biatch, she didn't even work so why did she need a sitter? Sorted her out.

The babysitter usually stays for around 12 hours or more for me. He doesn't actually cook the meals but gets bread and jam out of the fridge and sets them out on the table for the children. I lol'd the first time he did it!
What a lazy woman! Both sims in my legacy work and I have no other option but to hire a babysitter. Maybe she went out somewhere and left the kid at home? Sometimes the sitters stay even when you come home again.

I've never seen any Sim in Sims 3 put the servings on the table, I miss that about Sims 2 a lot. In a big family of seven or so by the time the last one has their dinner the first couple are finished. In S2 they all sat down for a meal together.

I know:( I got generations and like it so far. Only stupid things I've noticed is that the prams are useless for babies as the parent carries them on bumpy ground (basically everywhere then) and the scold interaction. My teen was being taught to drive by her mum and the two of them were in town together when the teens curfew is up. Mum and her go home where mum proceeds to yell at her and ground her. WTF? She was with her :s
Also, are the kids imitating the jockeys and kings included in this ep? If not then I haven't noticed this before but it's hilarious!!!

the scolding drives me nuts too, that's why I rarely play now, well one of the many reasons. What's jockeys and kings?
Oh the buggy, did I not say when I first got it that it took them too long to get anywhere as they keep putting the kid in and out of it, even on a slope. Too many fails in Sims 3 now. Instead of waiting patiently for the next EP we wait to see what will go wrong next. Thing is, they'll likely never fix these things, which is a real shame

Okay so I have another scold story- My legacy family were offered a free holiday (the two parents) they come back to find ONE plate sitting on the table and then proceed to ground the four teenagers for 'trashing the house'. Everything else was perfect but one plate. Those poor kids, sim parents are strict!
The children can click on the bath, chairs and become jockeys or kings- They dress in the outfit and it looks hilarious!
The buggys are pointless, if a car can go around bends and bumps why don't they do the same with buggys? Its just laziness.
And that good babysitter aged into an adult and now I can't find a good one!! The newest babysitter got into a fight with one of the children and lost! but all was forgiven a few minutes later when she grew up...

The whole scolding thing put me off the game. My kids skipped school, they were good kids and they just autonomously skipped school, I think you should have to tell them to do it. Anyway, the two sisters and their husbands and kids lived in one big house. I was appalled to see both sisters getting stuck into one kid, ridiculous. I haven't played since. I actually haven't played Generations properly and have no idea why I bothered to buy Pet or Showtime. Hopefully when I have more time on my hands I'll go back to it. I'm sure there are a lot of mods I could find and do.

They shouldn't make parents so strict!
I like generations but feel there was so little included with it, glad I only payed £12 for it.

It was the ideal time for them to add stuff for toddlers but they were overlooked again.
I really mean this, I'm not buying S4 right away, I'll be waiting till I've seen some videos, etc, user made ones, and read all the reviews first.

I won't be buying s4 as i won't be able to run it. I just don't feel like the future sims games will be any good, I don't feel bothered anymore.

You know I agree, I just don't see them backtracking now and it's a shame they just won't listen
